About Claudio D'Angelo

Claudio is a West-Island artist who has honed his skills over a lifetime, painting animals, and the world they inhabit. Hil oil paintings depict a wide range of North American wildlife, with a particular focus on the local animals with which he is most familiar. His unique interpretations of the subject have resulted in his work being exhibited with the Society of Animal Artists in New York, the Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming and many other art exhibitions across the US and Canada. His artwork has been featured on dozens of coins for the Royal Canadian Mint ans several conservation stamps for La Foundation de la Faune du Quebec. In 2012, the Yvonne L. Bombardier museum in Valcourt, Quebec mounted a 30-year retrospective of his work.
